Latex-Free, Barbed Injection Sites

Latex-free injection sites with barbs are available in non-slit or pre-slit versions and measure 1.5 in length. The barb is designed for maximum tensile strength on tubing with IDs of 0.06. No parting lines on the sealing surface minimize potential leaks. The polyisoprene septum is press-fitted into the white isoplast site holder and then into the polypropylene body. This process is free from additives or chemical adhesives. Polypropylene offers good chemical resistance, and the latex-free septum reduces the risk of allergic reactions.
