Zeta Potential Probe Works in Aqueous and Non-Aqueous Media
Booth 3963. The Zeta Potential Probe DT-300 characterizes ζ-potential in concentrated dispersions and emulsions with no dilution, and exploits electroacoustic phenomena. Volume fraction of the dispersed phase should exceed roughly 0.1% vl., and there is practically no upper limit. The instrument works in both aqueous and non-aqueous media. Sample volume might be as little as 2 mL. The probe can be inserted into a pipe for continuous in-line characterization. It could be supplemented with titration option, conductivity, dielectric permitivity, pH, and temperature probes. Time of the measurement varies from 15 seconds for heavy oxide particles to several minutes for emulsions and latex. Measurement precision is about ۪.1 mV.
