GC-MS/MS Triple Quad System for MS Detectors
The Evolution GC-MS/MS triple quad system is suited for Agilent 5973/5975 MS detectors. It is particularly useful for applications involving high backgrounds or matrix effects, which are common to food/flavor/fragrance chemistry, forensic science, pharmaceutical quality assurance and environmental analysis. The second MS eliminates any background and focus on a single ion, thereby guaranteeing that chemists can identify the target compound or group of compounds. Available as a standalone product, the system is also offered as an upgrade to a user’s existing Agilent 5973 or 5975 MSD system. Specific applications include flavor and fragrance R&D, identifying drugs of abuse, doping analysis, forensic testing of fire debris, locating impurities in pharmaceutical products, and detecting pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, PAH and PCB in food, soil and water.
