ICP-OES and ICP-MS Programmable Temperature Spray Chamber
Booth 4913. The IsoMist programmable temperature spray chamber provides precise temperature control from -10 to 60 C. Users need only an electrical outlet for the fully integrated and compact, standalone package. A built-in Peltier device lowers temperature from room temperature to -5 C in 15 minutes and holds the temperature to within 0.1°. In cooling mode, the chamber reduces oxide interferences in ICP-MS and facilitates volatile solvent analysis for ICP-OES. In heating mode, it lowers detection limits particularly for limited sample volumes requiring micro flow nebulization. The heating mode can also be used to facilitate the analysis of viscous samples. Additionally, the chamber’s stable temperature reduces spectrometer drift, resulting in more stable results. Configurations are available for almost any ICP-OES or ICP-MS instrument.
