Automatic Refractometer Determines Shadowline Digitally with Camera
Measuring only 292 ? 216 ? 76 mm, the r2i300 automatic digital refractometer measures samples that are transparent, translucent or opaque. Sample color does not affect the accuracy of the measurement. A linear scanned array camera digitally determines the shadowline intersect, thus eliminating operator error. Measurements typically take 5 seconds after sample application. The instrument meets the testing requirements for quality assurance and R&D labs in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food and beverage industries. This 9-scale refractometer measures refractive index and % Brix and features seven open channels for custom scales. A CD library of the 25 most popular custom scales is also provided.
