Compressed Air Piping System
Designed specifically for compressed air applications, Air-Pro compressed air piping systems are available in sizes of 0.5 to 12 with socket, butt and electro-fusion fittings. Styles available include tees, reducing tees, 90s, 45s and more. Safe and reliable, the systems offer low-cost, fast installations. The tapping saddle enables the installation of the entire pipe system with no drops. Reducing the number of required welds in half, drops are installed after using the tapping saddle and electro-fusion at any location under any pressure. The system delivers continuous operating pressures from 150 to 230 psi and uses specially engineered Solvay Eltex TUB 124 blue high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin, which is extremely ductile, lightweight and corrosion-free. Additionally, the systems are chemically resistant to compressor synthetic oils and mineral oils that traditionally attack glued systems.
