Sterilizing Grade High Capacity PES Filters

The Express Sterilizing grade High Capacity (SHC) polyethersulfone (PES) filters are for the efficient, economical processing of a variety of process fluids, including cell culture media and media additives, process intermediates and protein-containing solutions. The hydrophilic filters provide increased capacity, high sterility assurance and chemical compatibility across a 1- to 14-pH range. The devices are constructed with asymmetric composite membranes to deliver high permeability and up to twice the throughput than other sterilizing grade PES devices. By improving process efficiency up to 50%, the filters allow biopharmaceutical manufacturers to either reduce filtration area while maintaining the same batch volume, or increase throughput without increasing filtration area requirements.
