TOC Analysis Offers Thermocatalytic Digestion

The pharma TOC, for TOC analysis in ultrapure water, is suitable for the pharmaceutical industry, medicine, research, and other industries requiring supervision of ultrapure waters. It features a measuring range from 15 ppb to 200 ppm, and a 0.1 ppb resolution at the lower end of the measuring range. Thermocatalytic digestion at 800 C provides complete digestion for hard-to-oxidize constituents such as polycondensed aromatics and heteroaromatics. A signal processing system as well as the use of a high-grade NDIR-detector allow very precise, safe, and reliable determination of TC, TIC, TOC, or NPOC. Status displays inform the user graphically of the measurement process. At the same time, the most significant process parameters are monitored and displayed to ensure transparent analytical runs. An autosampler accommodating up to 36 samples is available for automatic operation. The sample vials have a volume of 30 mL and may be closed with parafilm and a holding clip.
