Trap and Thermal Desorption Unit Delivers Highly Accurate Analysis

Thermal desorption unit traps gaseous compounds

Booth 2275. The EDU3 trap and thermal desorption unit traps gaseous compounds on adsorption tubes and provides an enriched sample to a detector after thermal desorption. The detection limit can be enhanced by a factor of 10 to 1000, depending on sampling parameters and the target compounds. The adaptation of operational parameters is provided by means of the dedicated PC software. Furthermore, the unit offers single-shot or continuous-cyclic operation without a controlling computer, and it communicates with analyzers via digital signals. A variety of sampling material is available for optimization of the trapping behavior of target compounds. The unit automatically cycles from sampling to thermal desorption and can easily connect to various detectors (GC-MS, μGC), offering onsite operation.
