Hazardous Gas Detector and Monitor

Booth 3456. The GDA2 gas detector array for first responders detects and monitors common hazardous gases including chemical warfare agents (CWA). The measuring system combines four different detector technologies such as ion mobility, photo ionization and other chemical sensing within one portable unit. In case of accidents at chemical plants, during transportation of chemicals or during terrorist attacks, hazardous compounds may be released. To asses the chemical threat, an easy-to-use and rugged monitor is required that can detect the different compounds that may be present. The gas detector array is suited for such situations and can identify substances because of multiple sensing technologies.
