Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography Columns

Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography (HILIC) columns are for separating and retaining polar compounds that have limited retention of traditional reversed phase packings. Unlike reversed phase, HILIC columns use only small amounts of water in the mobile phase. These more volatile mobile phases increase sensitivity with LC/MS and ELSD applications. Two types of HILIC columns are offered, the Alltima HP HILIC and SeQuant’s zwitter-ionic ZIC-HILIC.
