Autosampler Uses Ion Mobility Spectrometry

The IONSCAN-LS Autosampler is a sampling system for routine testing of multiple solution samples during cleaning validation, testing, and screening procedures in the pharmaceutical industry. The Autosampler extends the functionality of the proprietary IONSCAN-LS analytical instrument by automating the operation and allowing for unattended instrument operation during sampling procedures. Each Autosampler, coupled with IONSCAN-LS, operates on 45- to 90- second cycles. Its flexibility also allows customization for content uniformity, dissolution testing, and quality control applications. The IONSCAN-LS is an analytical instrument using Ion Mobility Spectrometry, and works by selectively ionizing organic compounds and separating them according to their unique time of flight.
