Powder Flowability Analyzer Automates Powder Flow Measurement
The ShearScan TS12 fully automates the measurement of powder flow characteristics. Fully automated by computer control, an unskilled operator can get flowability data such as shear strength, wall friction, and bulk density. Using either a traditional shear cell or a rotational ring cell, the system combines most of the current powder flowability tests, including dynamic yield locus, traditional yield locus, wall friction, and compressibility in one instrument. Removable cells allow for time consolidation or temperature/ humidity studies.
