Emulsion/Dispersion Analyzer
The Turbiscan LAb range of analyzers detect and determine destabilization phenomena in concentrated emulsions and dispersions in order to correct formulations. Results are obtained 50 times faster than current subjective and non-discriminative visual methods allowing aging tests to be both shortened and documented. Particle size variations due to coalescence or flocculation are monitored and can be visualized through plotted kinetics of particle mean diameter versus time. Particle migration leading to sedimentation or creaming phenomena can be seen through calculation of the Migration Velocity or the sedimentation/cream Phase thickness.
