Air Cooled Chiller Uses Solid-State Thermoelectric Cooling
The TLC-900 thermoelectric air cooled chiller uses solid-state thermoelectric cooling to chill (or heat) and recirculate a liquid coolant. Integral “tunable” PID temperature control offers 0.1 C of set point precision. The advanced controller features multi-segment ramp and soak programs and RS-232 connectivity. Free data logging software is included. The self-contained benchtop chiller has a 90- to 265-vac universal power supply. Standard cooling is 310 W, but a 360-W high capacity option is available. A variable-speed fan keeps fan noise to a minimum. Applications include RF/microwave transmitters, laser systems, computer networking and more. Requiring virtually no maintenance, the chiller is also suited for remote site locations. Compressors, fluorocarbons and filters are not used.
