Cool Flowing Liquid in Tubing without Contamination
The Model AHP1200TC chiller is for contamination-free cooling of liquid flowing through standard 5mm flexible tubing. It is for use with a standard peristaltic pump to allow cooling to 4?C of liquids. An integral PID temperature controller provides accurate, constant temperature control. The freestanding bench-top apparatus functions by passing the tubing through a cold plate surface in a flat coil pattern. This provides maximum surface contact area between the cold plate and the tubing. When used with a peristaltic pump, the liquid being chilled remains isolated. For convenience, a hinged lid allows easy access to the tubing for setup and is closed in operation. The unit can be ordered for 120 or 240VAC power.
