Thermal Analyzer Simultaneously Analyzes Weight Loss and Heat Flow Changes

The Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer (STA) 6000 is a durable thermal analysis tool for routine and research applications in the polymers, pharmaceutical, ceramics and food markets. It allows automatic optimization and analysis of data to enable labs to work more efficiently and yield greater accuracy and improved results. The instrument simultaneously analyzes weight loss (Tg) and heat flow changes (DTA and DSC) for enhanced measurements. The analysis system features a fast cool-down time, cooling in less than 10 minutes from 1000 C to 30 C. To capture complete moisture and solvent evaporation, users can start experiments as low as 15 C. An integrated mass flow gas control and switch device provides accurate environmental control. It can also be connected to a mass spectrometer or an FT-IR spectrometer for enhanced materials characterization.
