Ultra Centrifugal Mill Prepares Hundreds Diverse Samples

Featuring a robust, high torque motor and cassette principle, the model ZM 200 ultra centrifugal mill can handle hundreds of samples per day without cross contamination. The versatile, safe and easy-to-use mill can prepare diverse samples, such as soy beans, corn, pasta, cereals, tea, spices and animal feed pellets. Size reduction takes place by impact, and shearing effects take place between the rotor and fixed ring sieve. This two-step process ensures gentle but fast processing. The final size of the particles is determined by the aperture size of the interchangeable ring sieves, which are available from 0.08 to 10 mm. With its range of accessories—including an automatic vibratory feeder, collection systems for larger quantities, and a special kit for the processing of small quantities—the mill can be adapted to a variety of applications.
