Disk Mill Prepares Samples in Seconds
The Vibratory RS 200 disk mill prepares samples for XRF or similar analyses. The 1.5-kW stabilized plane drive achieves grind sizes between 40 and 100 microns in seconds with high reproducibility. The standard deviation of d90 values is only half compared to other disk mills. Samples of 250 mL with a maximum particle feed size of <15 mm are ground in dust-tight and user-friendly grinding sets of chrome steel, tungsten carbide, zirconium oxide or agate and are contamination-free and neutral to analysis. Additional features include all-digital controls with memory for ten grinding programs, one-button operation, automatic recognition, and speed adjustment from 1400 to 700 rpm with agate grinding sets.
