Planetary Ball Mill Guarantees Stable Operation

The Planetary Ball Mill PM 100 benchtop model accepts one grinding jar, from 12 mL to 500 mL, available in 6 different materials. With a powerful drive and speeds up to 650 rpm, samples can be ground on a continuous basis down to the micron range and below. Smooth, stable operation is guaranteed by weight compensation and free force compensation sockets. Perfect, automatic compensation of the vibrations is achieved so the mill can run unsupervised during typical long-term grinding operations. Features include the “easysafe” clamp; a convenient operation display for parameter setting and control with additional information on drive work load, energy input and service issues; a memory for 10 parameter combinations; a delayed start feature; and a motor driven cover lock. The tool is for use with the proprietary dust-tight, safe and easy-to-use “comfort” grinding jars.
