Modular Advanced Rheology System
The HAAKE Modular Advanced Rheology System (MARS) is a user-friendly platform featuring a modular design that allows researchers to adapt the system quickly and easily for different applications and test needs. The base frame offers room for expansion with simple adjustments to accommodate additional modules and to customize applications. All relevant components, including the measuring head and electronics, can be interchanged. The system’s rugged frame is made from precision casting to increase its strength and to expand its capabilities for future measurement components. All rheological measurements can be performed in controlled rate (CR), controlled stress (CS) and controlled deformation (CD) modes, in rotation and in oscillation. An optical module allows rheological properties of a sample to be analyzed synchronously with its microscopic structure. A normal force sensor allows negative normal forces to be measured. HAAKE RheoWin 3 software and a sensor recognition tool allow measurement and evaluation functions to be performed and saved easily. Optional 21 CFR Part 11 tools are available to enable reliable record tracking.
