Comprehensive Two-Dimensional GC
The TRACE GCxGC, based on the proprietary TRACE GC Ultra Platform, incorporates HyperChrom GCxGC specific data handling software. Primarily targeted at refineries in the petrochemical industry and environmental labs, the instrument is suitable for the analysis of target compounds in complex matrices. It also overcomes the limitations encountered when using GC conventional methods for detailed sample characterization. The instrument is configured with a special set-up consisting of two columns displaying different physical properties. This provides a higher degree of modulator control. The instrument improves both qualitative and quantitative analyses by “ordering” compounds according to their chemical and physical properties. Three different versions that can be upgraded to enable large sample volume introduction are available.
