KF-Type Centering Ring Seal Assemblies

The KF-Type Centering Ring Seal Assemblies are available in NW flange sizes ranging from 1/2 to 12 inches. Seven standard elastomer seal materials are available. The ring seal assemblies consist of either an aluminum or stainless steel centering ring, with an integral elastomer O-ring seal. This O-ring provides conformability for static sealing, while the centering ring holds the seal in correct position against mating flanges. Each O-ring seal material provides high resistance to compression set. Seal material choices include nitrile, for moderate temperatures to 250 F; fluorocarbon, for moderate chemistries up to 400 F; and proprietary Parofluor ULTRA perfluorinated elastomers, for high-purity, aggressive chemistries and temperatures up to 608 F.
