Automated Sample Processing Platform
The compact, automated sample processing platform BioCel 1200 features a footprint of 2 m × 1.2 m. Automated applications range from compound plate replication and HTS assays in drug discovery research to nucleic acid sample preparation in genomics labs. The system’s design utilizes the high-speed central robot in the BioCel 1600, with the new capability of robotic reach outside the system frame. This feature, combined with the use of space-saving sliding doors, permits the flexibility to easily integrate large readers, compound stores or other devices into the system. The design also enables future expandability by combining multiple units with plug-and-play simplicity. VWorks, the proprietary automation control software, is used to operate the system.
