Upgrade Features Multi-Core Support to Discipline-Specific Modules
Multiphysics 3.4 is an engineering and scientific software environment for modeling and simulating any physics-based system. Its multi-ore processor support provides performance, solver speed and accuracy in multiphysics simulations. In addition to applying parallel computing throughout the solution process, the software introduces fluid dynamic solver methods for simulating large problems in chemical engineering, heat transfer or microfluidics applications, and it sees enhancements throughout its suite of discipline-specific modules for specialized simulations such as chemical engineering, RF, reaction engineering and structural mechanics. It delivers computational speed by leveraging multi-core processors and shared-memory parallelism. Every step of the simulation workflow, including meshing, assembly and solving, executes in parallel. The software will use the maximum number of cores available on the system, and users have complete control over the number of processors dedicated to their simulations.
