Universal Screw Caps Feature Septa Bonded Inside
Universal screw caps for 1.5-mL vials feature PTFE (no rubber) septa bonded inside them. The caps are compatible with all glass and plastic 9-mm thread autosampler vials. Made from an ultra pure medical-grade PTFE, the septa are bonded in the caps without using glue so they will not become miss-fitted during shipping or handling. The caps are recommended for single injection and not for volatile compounds or solvents. They are not susceptible to extractables from silicone rubber and, thus, are suited for LC/MS and less expensive then silicone/PTFE septa.
