Portable Refractometer Eliminates Manual Calculations

The Quick-Brix portable refractometer is available in two versions. Ethanol producers can use the iQuickBrix 60 for measuring the Brix content of mash before and during fermentation. Results are displayed automatically, eliminating the need for manual calculations. The instrument comes in a rugged, splash-proof design and can be used in dusty or challenging environments. For easy cleaning, users simply rinse the unit under a tap. Also, its small size and weight allow it to fit in any pocket. Operation, as well as calibration, can be performed by any farm or production operative. Digital measurement, as opposed to traditional optical Brix measurement, eliminates operator bias so results are more comparable and reliable.
