Analytical Balance Offers Hands-Free Operation

The Excellence Plus XP balance features three new innovations. SmartSens technology permits the balance to be operated hands-free, allowing the user to concentrate fully on the safe handling of samples to avoid spillage and minimize the risk of contamination. Two built-in sensors can be programmed individually enabling the user to tare, open and close the draft shield or print with a wave of the hand. The SmartGrid grid-style weighing pan minimizes the effects of turbulence in the weighing chamber, providing more accurate results and shorter stabilization times. The SmartScreen color display ensures data security compliance with stringent quality standards. Individual, color-coded profiles can be configured and documented for up to eight users or methods.
