Dual-Channel FT-Raman Module Accessory
The RAM II provides non-contact and non-destructive structural molecular analysis of organic and inorganic materials and, thus, is used for demanding research applications and for fast trouble shooting purposes. The instrument is a dual-channel FT-Raman accessory for proprietary FT-IR spectrometers. The module is designed for researchers who seek the flexibility of using different Raman laser wavelengths in combination with FT-IR spectroscopy. Sensitivity and stability are delivered with the proprietary ultra high sensitivity detectors with extra long term LN2 cooling, the dynamic 24-bit converter and the air cooled high stable diode laser sources. The module is equipped with standard 1064-nm excitation for suppression of fluorescence. In addition, configurations with a 976- or 785-nm laser are available to offer flexibility. The large sample compartment can accommodate a range of pre-aligned sampling accessories designed to accommodate all types of sample formats, from powders to liquids in vials.
