Compact Heater Shaker Accommodates Customizable Reaction Blocks

The Metz heater shaker offers heating and shaking in a single, compact unit that fits on any bench or in any fume hood. Reactions or incubations are performed in a removable reaction block that fits securely in the heated platform, which rotates in a circular orbit for mixing reactants efficiently. The unit accommodates reaction blocks that accept different sized tubes or multiple micro titer plates. Reaction blocks can also be customized to accept vessels for specific applications. When integrated within robotic workstations, an auto-park feature ensures the heater shaker platform always stops on the same X-Y coordinate for accurate alignment.
