Diode-Laser Raman System
The PI-200 Raman instrument, which can be used in the laboratory or on-line for process control, incorporates a 300 mW, frequency-stabilized, narrow-wavelength diode laser. An optically fast fiber-coupled spectrograph, low noise Andor CCD camera TE-cooled to -60 C, and spectral acquisition and real-time chemometric software are included. The instrument design offers high throughput while retaining high resolution. The optical design allows full height coverage of the 1024 × 256 pixel CCD chip and wide fiber array input while retaining good resolution. The system includes a fiber-coupled Raman probe with laser band-pass and elastic light rejection filtering.
