Columns Maintain High Binding Capacities

AcroSep chromatography columns offer “gel-in-a-shell” technology for accelerating protein sample preparation and analysis. The new chromatography columns are rapid and efficient while maintaining high binding capacities and distinct separation of proteins. These columns are suitable for optimization studies of protein purification schemes using small sample volumes prior to scale-up. The 1-mL columns are compatible for use with syringes, pumps or automated instruments. A luer lock design helps to link to any system. Columns are packaged with the housing, cap, plug and adapter made of polypropylene material. They are currently available with the following media pre-packed in color-coded housings: CM Ceramic HyperD? F media (weak cation exchanger, green collar), S Ceramic HyperD F media (strong cation exchanger, blue collar), Q Ceramic HyperD F media (strong anion exchanger, red collar) and DEAE Ceramic HyperD F media (weak anion exchanger, orange collar).
