Stand-Up Bags
The Whirl-Pak Stand-Up Bag, once filled, stands up completely by itself, freeing both hands to perform other important laboratory functions. The flat bottom ensures stability and the wire tabs hold the top open for easy access. Materials can then be easily added or removed from the bag for testing or analysis. It is available in 4, 18, or 24 oz. sizes. The Whirl-Pak Stand-Up Thio-Bag is specially designed for sampling chlorinated water. In addition to standing up by itself, these EPA approved bags hold a nontoxic, nonnutritive tablet containing 10 mg of active sodium thiosulfate to neutralize chlorine at the time of collection. It is available in 100 and 300 ml sizes. Both bags are sterilized, lightweight, and unbreakable. They are transparent with a convenient write-on strip for easy sample identification.
