Custom Mounting and Positioning Devices
A full range of shaft collars can be custom manufactured to create special purpose mounting, positioning and actuation devices. Featuring smooth, hex, square, metric, radiused, keyed and threaded bores, they are available in one- and two-piece, hinged or set-screw styles. In addition, they can be machined with drilled and tapped face holes and OD treatments such as flats, grooves, or knurls. Special fasteners can be supplied with the collars also. With tolerances to 0.0005, depending upon configuration, the shaft collars are available with bore sizes from 1/8 to 16 ID. Materials can include steel, aluminum, stainless steels, inconel, monel, hastelloy, titanium, bronze, brass, Teflon and engineering plastics.
