Heavy Duty, Disposable Filter Assembly
The UltraCap H.D. (heavy duty) high-capacity filter assembly for liquid, gas and vent applications is a completely disposable, high-flow, high-throughput filter system in a robust housing. The assembly is optimized for continuous and batch processing in bio-manufacturing operations, as well as for final- and pre-filtration in pharmaceutical applications. It features a T-style sanitary flange inlet and outlet connections with filter media removal ratings from 0.04 to 100 μm. It is available with STyLUX or EverLUX PES, SteriLUX or Steridyne PVDF, Ultradyne PTFE and Chemdyne polypropylene membranes, as well as ALpHA polypropylene microfiber, Protec glass microfiber, and DeltaMax and DeltaDepth polypropylene depth media. The robust assembly resists damage due to rough handling conditions and demanding environments. It has no sharp edges, making it suitable for DPS/biocontainer system integration. Length options of 10 inches, 20 inches, 30 inches and 40 inches permit fast scale-up. The assembly is available gamma-irradiated for aseptic applications.
