Instrumental Analysis for R&D, QC and Process Monitoring
Booth 2924. Coupled with AlphaSoft V11 Enose software, the FOX electronic nose provides decision tools for R&D, quality control or process monitoring. Based on sensor technology, these analyzers measure volatile compounds emanating from all types of samples (solid, liquid, gas) and provide a global fingerprint. To optimize the first step of analysis, which is comprised of generating volatile compounds (headspace), the software monitors a range of sampling methods, such as SPME, SPDE and ITEX. For quality control services, the software allows users to follow the quality of a product in real time with specific criteria. After each analysis, users can see if the product meets the specifications or not. Users can perform product comparisons, including defect screening, batch-to-batch variation detection, process monitoring, product development based on flavor/odor, competition benchmarking, raw materials testing, product quality control and sample identification. For R&D working on product development, the software proposes shelf-life models to follow product aging.
