Preparative HPLC Columns Combined with Packing Device
The Pack-n-Sep 50 series of preparative HPLC columns are suited for the purification of grams to hundreds of grams. The advantages of a 2 ID dynamic axial compression (DAC) column are combined with a device that packs multiple columns and can be used separately with HPLC, SMB or Varicol systems. Benefits include fast packing and unpacking in <5 minutes and a compact design for easy handling. The series packs beds up to 10 in a 13 long column. Both the shorter and longer columns (for SMB and HPLC, respectively) are packed with the same packer for versatility. The design allows one packer to support numerous columns, meeting a lab's needs at a cost-effective price. The series can be used when attached to the packer in DAC mode for applications demanding high column efficiency and long-term bed stability. It can also be used separately in nonDAC mode, with a feature for readjusting the packing pressure.
