Microbalances Deliver Precision for Small Samples

The SE2 and ME5 micro and ultra-microbalances combine fast response times and high repeatability to deliver quality for weighing the smallest samples. A stabilization time of 10 seconds is achieved. The SE2 features a weighing range of 0.1 μg to 2.1 g while the ME5 ranges from 1 μg to 5.1 g. The units can be connected to a PC or printer through an RS232 communication port. An intelligent motorized draft shield can be adapted to any work routine with the press of a button. The micros also feature brilliant, backlight displays with easy-to-read characters viewable at any angle, even in low light. Automatic calibration adds ease-of-use through the isoCAL function, while the SQmin function can be used to monitor minimum initial sample weight in accordance with USP standards. The balances also come preloaded with 14 application programs, so tasks such as air buoyancy correction are made more efficient.
