Analyzer Quantifies Somatic Cells in Milk

The SomaScope Analyzer provides a cost effective way for dairy labs to quantify somatic cells in unpasteurized milk and identify sub-clinical mastitis. The instrument features fluorescence flow cytometry and high-throughput dual photomultipliers for outstanding accuracy. Its modular construction, including open access to the sample preparation unit and other components, allows easy maintenance and parts replacement. Accuracy and repeatability meet industry standards for laboratory analyzers with a throughput rate of up to 400 samples an hour. A simple user interface makes it easy to operate, and no external computer is required. A standard RS232 enables data transmission to a central data management system, and a printer output port allows local printing of results. Field service and technical support is available on a 24-hour basis from the company. Supplies, accessories and spare parts are also available.
