Web-Based Units Converter and Equation Solver
Free Web-based Units Converter and Equation Solver can be used online or downloaded at www.lytron.com/support/units_index.htm. To convert from one unit of measurement to another, users simply enter a value and its unit of measurement and then click on the preferred unit. The Units Converter includes all major units of measurement, including temperature, power, specific heat, density, flow rate, volume, thermal conductivity and more. There are up to 20 units for each category, and users can request additional units be added. Results are calculated to three decimal places as a user enters values, ensuring they always view accurate data. From the converter, users can navigate to the Equation Solver with which they can select from one of six standard thermal equations and enter their preferred units for each variable. Users can solve for any variable in the equations by simply entering the known variables and moving the solve button to the unknown variable. The convenience, flexibility, and ease of use of the Web tools allow users to save time with calculations.
