Nanovolume Injectors and Switching Valves
Cheminert Nanovolume HPLC Injectors and Switching Valves combine microfluidics technology with chemical analysis to facilitate high-resolution HPLC at a very small scale. The 100-μm (0.004 bore is uniform throughout the flowpath, reducing band broadening and creating less than 25 nL of port-to-port volume. Individual finger-tight fittings work with a variety of tubing including PEEK, fused silica (360 μm), and 1/32 electroformed nickel. A fast (100 msec) microelectric actuator determines accurate positioning without limit switches or adjustment.
