O-Ring Sealed Containers Feature Vacuum Pumps

The Desi-Vac plastic container is suited for drying, preserving and storing samples. A vacuum pump built into the top removes air with manual strokes, and a rubber O-ring-sealed cover maintains vacuum. The container achieves a vacuum of better than 200 of water and 15 of mercury. A release button on the top allows air into the container to remove the lid. Sample Humidity Sponges desiccant drying packets are provided. Applications include storing chemicals, powders, tissues, plant sections, electronics and weighing samples. A vacuum indicating button confirms interior vacuum. A dial hygrometer displays 0% to 100% relative humidity with a resolution of 2% RH. The two sizes offered measure 8 1/2× 7× 6 1/2 with 3000 cc and 11 4/5× 9× 10 with 11,500 cc.
