Real-Time UPLC Process Analyzer Increases Production Efficiency

The PATROL UPLC process analyzer, a real-time PAT system, can detect and quantify complex, multiple-component manufacturing samples and final product on the production floor. Designed with the same enabling technology platform as the ACQUITY UPLC System, the PATROL UPLC moves existing LC analysis from off-line QC labs directly to the manufacturing stream, resulting in improvements in production efficiency with real-time analysis. This reduces both process cycle times and assures product quality. Liquid chromatography offers superior selectivity, sensitivity, and a dynamic range, and it can resolve and quantify related and unrelated compounds. PATROL UPLC’s analytical power and speed redefines the PAT equation, making LC now a viable PAT technique. Easy to operate and reliable, the analyzer provides reproducible QC laboratory capabilities such as automated purity and yield results, automated sign-off, and real-time release. The system integrates and automates sample preparation capabilities, LC instrumentation, a portfolio of column chemistries, process control communication interfaces, and a powerful chromatography data software application package. Additionally, the UPLC maximizes the ease and speed of routine service, including fitting the system with proprietary Connections INSIGHT for real-time service requirements or alerts.
