UPLC/MS System Incorporates API Mass Detector

The ACQUITY SQD UPLC/MS system gives users more information about the identity of compounds than conventional UV/Vis-based detector systems. The incorporated SQ detector is a benchtop, ultra-compact, single-quadrupole, atmospheric pressure ionization (API) mass detector for routine UPLC/MS analyses. With IntelliStart diagnostic software, the system tunes and calibrates the detector and conducts system performance checks. Applications include peak purity/impurity profiling, synthesis confirmation, product deformulation and enhanced methods development through the use of molecular weight-based peak tracking.
