Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography System

Gold Award. The ACQUITY Ultra-Performance LC System is designed to take full advantage of the potential of novel sub two-micro particles, giving chromatographic run times up to 9× shorter than the fastest HPLC systems, with up to 2× better peak capacity or resolution, and 3× better routine sensitivity. A patented 1.7-micro hybrid particle chemistry matched with instrumentation hardware and software provides benefits over HPLC systems equipped with standard five-micro particle chemistries. Advanced packing material consists of particles made with both inorganic and organic elements that possess improved attributes for efficiency, ruggedness, and peak shape. Each column features an eCord that records the number of injections, observed back pressures, and temperature of the column and contains the column's unique Certificate of Analysis from its manufacturing and QC history. The system consists of a binary solvent manager, sample manager, ACQUITY UPLC Column chemistry, column heater module and either tunable UV and/or photodiode array detectors.
