Diode Lasers for Raman Spectroscopy
A high power (90 to 110 nW) narrow line width diode laser is available at 785 nm for many Raman spectroscopy type applications. A small 2 mm circular beam makes it convenient for launching into optical fibers for many process control applications. The laser is packaged in a small module with temperature control and no internal fan to provide a low noise, high stability laser. The standard 2 mm beam or optional 4 mm beam can generate micron spot sizes for use in Raman microscopy applications. Low power consumption makes it suited to portable systems.
