The ThermoTrace Infrared Thermometer Model 15030 has been reengineered for improved accuracy. While similar products list specifications of ۬ F (1 C) accuracy on a single degree point of 73 F (23 C), this unit's accuracy has been validated at ۬ F (1 C) from 32 F (0 C) to 590 F (310 C). It weighs only 4.5 ounces (127 grams), about the half the weight of comparable pistol-grip-style infrared thermometers. Other features include a tight resolution, laser targeting, and a broad temperature reading range. This thermometer facilitates instant, non-contact surface temperature measurement and is a safe way to measure hot, hard-to-reach, or moving objects. ThermoTrace is NIST traceable and is CE marked.
