193-nm Fast Excimer Laser Ablation System
The UP193-FX is a 193-nm, short-pulse excimer laser ablation system that provides high performance at a low operating cost. It features a fully homogenized beam, optimal wavelength coupling to the ICP-MS and 4-GW/cm2 irradiance at the sample. This results in consistently smaller aerosol particles from all material for maximized ionization, minimal fractionation and superior crater quality. The compact system also produces superior results on metals via its short pulsewidth and is suited for bulk or micro-feature analysis. Applications include geochemistry, fundamentals, forensics, environmental sciences, pharmaceutical and health sciences. The system also features 13 precalibrated spot sizes with constant fluence.
