Photostability Testing Chambers
The 6540 series photostability chambers have an interior volume of approximately 10 cu ft (283 L), and they perform near UV and visual light testing with fluorescent lamps in accordance with ICH GuidelinesQ1B, Option 2. The benchtop design allows for the measurement of programmable light and temperature. Also, the unit can be ordered with an optional controlled humidity system. Performance is managed through a microprocessor-based control system with a color touch-screen interface that is programmable in four languages. Interior lamps can be programmed to shut off automatically after a specified exposure level or elapsed time. Uniform light distribution and high intensity light levels permit quick response for forced degradation testing applications. Programmable alarms notify the user when aging lamps should be replaced.
