Engine Exhaust Condensation Particle Counter
The Model 3790 engine exhaust condensation particle counter (EECPC) fully meets all proposed particle measurement program (PMP) requirements for Euro 5 regulations. This particle counter is based on the Model 3010D CPC, which exhibits optimal repeatability during the PMP light-duty inter-laboratory correlation exercise (ILCE). The EECPC incorporates many improvements and performance features, such as an antispill/antiflooding design, condensate removal system, removable saturator for maintenance ease, USB communication interface and more. The lower particle size detection limit of greater than 20 nm meets the PMP's requirement for eliminating measurement of volatile and semivolatile nanoparticles formed by nucleation of gaseous compounds.
